Leader’s Lead

On one occasion, I was struggling with unifying a matrixed clinical development team. Clearly, the group was looking for direction, and we were having difficulty getting aligned. I was failing them. I expressed my concerns to my boss, who replied calmly but with conviction, "Jason, leaders lead." It inspired me, and I regained my confidence to get the team working as one. Thanks, Jeff.
